Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Pine Creek Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Pueblo West Cyclones (Pueblo West, CO), saw Pine Creek's soccer squad triumph over Pueblo West by a count of 8-1.
The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Trojans come into the 5A/4A CSML Metro match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Fountain-Fort Carson was overwhelmed by Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO), 3-2, in a league match.
The Cyclones now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo County for a non-league match on Thursday, October 9. Pueblo West will meet a Hornets team coming off a 0-0 league Pueblo Central (Pueblo, CO). The Hornets record now stands at 4-1.
