In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Alma Center Lincoln Hornets volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Pepin/Alma Eagles.

The Hornets (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Melrose-Mindoro (Melrose, WI). The Mustangs enter the Dairyland challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Melrose-Mindoro tipped Osseo-Fairchild (Osseo, WI), 3-0, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blair-Taylor for a Dairyland test on Thursday, October 9. Pepin/Alma will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fennimore (Fennimore, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-8.
