In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Bickleton Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Trout Lake Mustangs.
The Pirates (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Ione/Arlington (Ione, OR). The Cardinals go into the 1A Big Sky test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Ione/Arlington was defeated by Dufur (Dufur, OR), 3-1, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Wasco County for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 14. Trout Lake will face a Redsides squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler (Mitchell, OR). The Redsides record now stands at 16-8.
