The Southern Bulldogs volleyball team (Harwood, MD), was beaten 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Chesapeake Cougars (Pasadena, MD)

The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Old Mill (Millersville, MD). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Old Mill was beaten by Meade (Fort Meade, MD), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 9. Southern will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Gophers go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to South River (Edgewater, MD).
