Nebraska High School Volleyball - Cross County tips North Bend Central

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) and the visiting North Bend Central Tigers (North Bend, NE), observed Cross County's volleyball team hold off North Bend Central by a count of 3-2.

The Cougars (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dorchester (Dorchester, NE). The Longhorns enter the Crossroads contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Dorchester was tipped by Silver Lake (Roseland, NE), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Tekamah-Herman Tigers (Tekamah, NE) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 9. North Bend Central will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 5-20 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pender (Pender, NE).
