Connecticut High School Volleyball - Waterbury Career Academy over Derby

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Waterbury Career Academy Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Derby Red Raiders.

The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxford (Oxford, CT). The Wolverines go into the Naugatuck Valley test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Oxford achieved victory over Wilby (Waterbury, CT), 3-1, in a league test.

The Red Raiders now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Paul Catholic for a Naugatuck Valley test on Thursday, October 9. Derby will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Wilby (Waterbury, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 7-8.
