Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks (Fonda, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Duanesburg Eagles (Delanson, NY), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Valley Hawks (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Canajoharie/Fort Plain (Canajoharie, NY). The come into the Section 2 Western - Northern challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Canajoharie/Fort Plain was beaten by Mekeel Christian Academy (Schenectady, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs (Berne, NY) in a Section 2 Western - Northern challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Duanesburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY).
