The East Central Hornets topped the host South Jones Braves volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Hornets play the Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 9. East Central will attempt to better on its 19-19 season record. The Tornadoes come into the outing with a 31-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS).
With the loss, South Jones drops to 15-8 on the campaign.
