In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Fairmont Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Luverne Cardinals.
The Cardinals (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Worthington (Worthington, MN). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 9-14 record. In their last challenge, Worthington was beaten by St. Peter (St. Peter, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Adrian/Ellsworth for a non-league test on Friday, October 10.
