Glenns Ferry Pilots (Glenns Ferry, ID) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Shoshone Indians (Shoshone, ID), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Pilots (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakley (Oakley, ID). The Hornets enter the 2A Snake River challenge with a 16-8 record. In their last challenge, Oakley beat Valley (Hazelton, ID), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Murtaugh Red Devils (Murtaugh, ID) in a 2A Snake River challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Shoshone will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Sun Valley Community (Sun Valley, ID).
