With the win, Highland Baptist Christian improves its record to 12-8 on the season. The Bears host Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA) to play the Eagles in a Division V District 3 challenge on Tuesday, October 14. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-8.

Next, the Tigers play the Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles (Youngsville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 8. Hanson Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record.
