In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Salt Fork Storm volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Iroquois West Raiders.
The Storm (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 8-14 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph-Ogden beat Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Raiders meet the Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) in a Vermilion Valley challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Iroquois West will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Cornjerkers go into the test with a 4-16 record after their 2-0 league loss to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL).
