The Wildcats (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against South Gray (Montezuma, KS). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 25-2 record. In their last contest, South Gray got by Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Timberwolves battle the Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS) in a Southern Plains-Iroquois contest, on Tuesday, October 14. South Central will attempt to move on its 14-14 season record. The Blue Jays enter the contest with a 6-19 record after their 2-0 league loss to Ingalls (Ingalls, KS).
