The Nelson County Governors topped the host William Campbell Generals volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Governors confront the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a Dogwood game, on Tuesday, October 14. Nelson County will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Colonels go into the game with a 1-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA).

With the loss, William Campbell drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Gretna (Gretna, VA) to play the Hawks in a Dogwood outing on Thursday, October 9. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 12-3. Gretna won 3-0 in their recent league game against Chatham (Chatham, VA)
