Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the South Central Timberwolves (Coldwater, KS) and the visiting Pawnee Heights Tigers (Rozel, KS), observed South Central's volleyball team top Pawnee Heights by a count of 2-0.

The Timberwolves (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, KS). The Blue Jays enter the Southern Plains-Iroquois contest with a 6-18 record. In their last contest, Ashland was knocked off by Ingalls (Ingalls, KS), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 10-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hodgeman County for a Southern Plains-Iroquois battle on Tuesday, October 14. Pawnee Heights will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 2-0 league loss to South Gray (Montezuma, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 16-11.
