Illinois High School Volleyball - Peoria Notre Dame over Urbana

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Peoria Notre Dame Irish volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Urbana Tigers.

With the win, Peoria Notre Dame improves its record to 15-11 on the season. The Irish travel to Brimfield (Brimfield, IL) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15. The Indians go into the test with a record of 17-6. Brimfield won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL)

Next, the Tigers play the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 8. Urbana will attempt to advance on its 5-17 season record. The Sabers go into the game with a 16-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL).
