The Knights (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Chargers go into the Big Twelve battle with a 8-18 record. In their last battle, Centennial dropped by Champaign Central (Champaign, IL), 2-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 11. Peoria will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 21-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL).
