In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host South Wasco County Redsides volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Riverside Pirates.
The Redsides (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler (Mitchell, OR). The go into the 1A Big Sky outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler beat Horizon Christian (Hood River, OR), 3-0, in a league outing.
With the loss, Riverside drops to 3-11 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR) to play the Pioneers in a 3A Eastern Oregon outing on Thursday, October 9. The Pioneers come into the outing with a record of 7-8. McLoughlin won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Riverside (Boardman, OR)
