The Iola Bulldogs thwarted the visiting Bartlett Bulldogs football team by a count of 20-12 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Iola upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Granger (Granger, TX) to clash with the Lions in a 2A-2 Region IV District 13 bout on Friday, October 15. The Lions enter the bout with a record of 5-0. Granger won 35-7 in their recent league bout against Milano (Milano, TX)
The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Burton (Burton, TX). The Panthers enter the 2A-2 Region IV District 13 bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Burton thwarted Somerville (Somerville, TX), 34-6, in a league bout.
