The Mahopac Indians (Mahopac, NY) football defeated the host Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY), 31-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Indians face the Yorktown Huskers (Yorktown Heights, NY) in a Section 1 A - League A bout, on Friday, October 15. Mahopac will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Huskers enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 16-6 league win over Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY).

The Bears (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Hornets enter the Section 1 A - League A bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Lakeland lost by Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY), 16-6, in a league bout.
