The Green Forest Tigers football team (Green Forest, AR), was beaten 14-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR)
The Pioneers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR). The Saints come into the 4A Region 1 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Shiloh Christian achieved victory over Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR), 42-14, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elkins for a 4A Region 1 challenge on Friday, October 15. Green Forest will meet a Elks team coming off a 48-13 league win over Berryville (Berryville, AR). The Elks record now stands at 5-0.
