The Westborough Rangers held off the visiting Bromfield Trojans soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.
The Rangers now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Algonquin Regional for a Midland-Wachusett A match on Tuesday, October 12. Westborough will encounter a Tomahawks squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Leominster (Leominster, MA). The Tomahawks record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Bromfield drops to 11-1 on the season.
