Colorado High School Football - Dayspring Christian Academy held off by Akron

October 8, 2022: Akron, CO 80720

In Saturday's league game, the Akron Rams (Akron, CO) football team got by the visiting Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles (Greeley, CO), by a score of 48-42.

The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO). The Cougars come into the A-8 League 4 (8 Man) game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Sedgwick County was tipped by Merino (Merino, CO), 36-6, in a league game.

The Eagles now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haxtun for a A-8 League 4 (8 Man) game on Friday, October 14. Dayspring Christian Academy will battle a Fightin' Bulldogs team coming off a 58-8 league win over Caliche (Iliff, CO). The Fightin' Bulldogs record now stands at 6-0.
