In Saturday's league match, the host Classical Purples football squad scored a big 41-0 victory over the Toll Gate Titans.
In their next game, the Purples clash with the Tolman Tigers (Pawtucket, RI) in a Division III-A match, on Friday, October 14. Classical will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 34-13 league win over North Smithfield/Mount St. Charles Academy (North Smithfield, RI).
The Titans (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Islanders enter the Division III-A match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Middletown routed Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 14-2, in a league match.
