In Saturday's league game, the John Adams Spartans (Ozone Park, NY) football team were victorious over the host Columbus Blue Steel (Bronx, NY), by a score of 32-18.
The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their game against DeWitt Clinton (Bronx, NY). The Governors come into the PSAL A game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, DeWitt Clinton knocked off Bryant (Queens, NY), 42-6, in a league game.
The Blue Steel now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lane for a PSAL A game on Friday, October 14. Columbus will battle a Knights team coming off a 26-12 league win over Flushing (Flushing, NY). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.
