In Saturday's league game, the Strasburg Indians (Strasburg, CO) football team smashed the visiting Denver Christian Thunder (Denver, CO), by a final score of 56-21.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Middle Park (Granby, CO). The Panthers come into the 1A League 5 game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Middle Park overwhelmed Jefferson (Edgewater, CO), 60-0, in a league game.

The Thunder now hold a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Platte Canyon for a 1A League 5 game on Friday, October 14. Denver Christian will battle a Huskies team coming off a 48-14 league win over Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO). The Huskies record now stands at 5-1.
