California High School Football - Valley Christian nipped by Encina Prep

The Encina Prep Bulldogs held off the host Valley Christian Lions football team by a count of 33-30 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Encina Prep upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Foresthill (Foresthill, CA) to encounter the Wildfires in a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League outing on Saturday, October 15. The Wildfires go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Foresthill won 39-0 in their recent league outing against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA)

With the loss, Valley Christian moves to 5-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA) to encounter the Cardinals in a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League outing on Saturday, October 15.
