The Mather Rangers football team (Chicago, IL), was tipped 18-12 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Lake View Wildcats (Chicago, IL)

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Steinmetz College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Silver Streaks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Steinmetz College Prep was tipped by Chicago Sullivan (Chicago, IL), 30-6, in a league challenge.

The Rangers now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schurz for a Chicago Public - Red North Central challenge on Thursday, October 13. Mather will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-8 league loss to Amundsen (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
