In Saturday's league match, the visiting Plainfield South Cougars football squad scored a good 26-0 victory over the Plainfield Central Wildcats.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a Southwest Prairie - East match, on Friday, October 14. Plainfield South will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Bengals enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 44-7 league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL).
The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Spartans enter the Southwest Prairie - East match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Romeoville ran past Joliet Central (Joliet, IL), 30-6, in a league match.
