Delaware High School Football - Polytech drops to Wilmington Charter

In Saturday's non-league game, the Wilmington Charter Force (Wilmington, DE) football team knocked off the visiting Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE), by a final score of 18-7.
The Force (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Early College (Dover, DE). The Hornets come into the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Early College was dropped by Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE), 60-0, in a non-league game.
The Panthers now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indian River for a 1A District 2 game on Thursday, October 13. Polytech will battle a Indians team coming off a 39-14 non-league loss to St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE). The Indians record now stands at 2-3.
