The Tartan Titans football team (Oakdale, MN), was beaten 27-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN)
The Spartans (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs come into the Suburban - Grey challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Mahtomedi was beaten by St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN), 28-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Titans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Lake Park for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 14. Tartan will meet a Panthers team coming off a 29-28 league win over Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.
