The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Albany Cougars (Albany, CA) and the visiting Terra Linda Trojans (San Rafael, CA), saw Albany's volleyball squad nip Terra Linda by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Albany upgrades its record to 10-0 on the year. The Cougars host Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA) to play the Spartans in a bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Pinole Valley won 2-0 in their recent league bout against San Rafael (San Rafael, CA)

The Trojans now own a 0-3 record.
