The Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) football defeated the host Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO), 29-7 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) in a bout, on Thursday, October 13. Douglas County will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Sabercats enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 25-24 non-league loss to ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO).
The Wolverines (0-8) will now prepare for their bout against Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO). The Raiders enter the non-league bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Regis Jesuit lost by Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO), 44-16, in a non-league bout.
