The Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA) volleyball overcame the host Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Schurr upgrades its record to 26-6 on the year. The Spartans travel to Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Comets in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 8. The Comets go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

The Panthers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Westridge for a outing on Tuesday, October 11. Polytechnic will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-13.
