In Saturday's league battle, the host La Salle Academy Rams soccer squad scored a close 4-1 triumph over the Central Knights.

The Rams (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Classical (Providence, RI). The Purples come into the State Championship Division battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Classical by Buhler (Buhler, KS), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers come into the State Championship Division battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, North Kingstown nudged Barrington (Barrington, RI), 6-3, in a league battle.
