Next, the Knights confront the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Preston will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 1-1 non-league Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV).

The Monarchs now have a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they host Magnolia for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 10. John Marshall will confront a Blue Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
