The Salida Spartans soccer team scored 1 points and limited the visiting Ridgway Demons to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

Next, the Spartans face the James Irwin Jaguars (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 3A Tri-Peaks contest, on Tuesday, October 11. Salida will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 9-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to Atlas Preparatory School (Colorado Springs, CO).
