In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Addison Trail Blazers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Elgin Maroons.

The Blazers (10-17) will now prepare for their battle against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, Grayslake North achieved victory over Round Lake (Round Lake, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Maroons clash with the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Elgin will attempt to advance on its 3-16 season record. The Royals come into the battle with a 0-21 record after their 2-0 league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL).
