The Alpine Bucks volleyball team (Alpine, TX), was dropped 3-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Sonora Broncos (Sonora, TX)

The Broncos (21-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Junction (Junction, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A Region I District 5 challenge with a 16-10 record. In their last challenge, Junction was dropped by Miles (Miles, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bucks meet the Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX) in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Alpine will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 3-25 record after their 3-0 league loss to Presidio (Presidio, TX).
