The Archbishop Riordan Crusaders volleyball team (San Francisco, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA)
The Mariners (9-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Vintage (Napa, CA). The Crushers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Vintage nipped Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Crusaders encounter the Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Archbishop Riordan will attempt to move on its 10-14 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 3-2 league win over Manteca (Manteca, CA).
