The Bishop Lynch Friars volleyball team (Dallas, TX), was edged 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX)

The Warriors (25-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sam Houston (Arlington, TX). The Texans come into the 6A Region I District 8 challenge with a 13-13 record. In their last challenge, Sam Houston was edged by Lamar (Arlington, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Friars encounter the Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX) in a TAPPS 6A District 1 challenge, on Thursday, October 13. Bishop Lynch will attempt to move on its 24-10 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 17-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX).
