The Toreadors (31-8) will now prepare for their challenge against North (Torrance, CA). The Saxons enter the non-league challenge with a 15-13 record. In their last challenge, North was dropped by Torrance (Torrance, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Brea Olinda will attempt to move on its 10-18 season record. The Owls enter the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Buckley (Sherman Oaks, CA).
