The St. Mary's Academy Belles volleyball team (Inglewood, CA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA)

The Bears (7-13) will now prepare for their bout against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA). The Falcons go into the Pacific bout with a 26-9 record. In their last bout, Crescenta Valley notched a victory over Glendale (Glendale, CA), 3-1, in a league bout.

The Belles now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Monica for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. St. Mary's Academy will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-10.
