The Phillips Loggers topped the host Cornell Chiefs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Loggers now have a 24-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilman for a non-league test on Saturday, October 8. Phillips will confront a Pirates team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Columbus Catholic (Marshfield, WI). The Pirates record now stands at 10-10.
The Chiefs (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Winter (Winter, WI). The Warriors enter the Lakeland - East test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Winter gained a win over Bruce (Bruce, WI), 3-0, in a league test.
