With the win, Crystal Lake South upgrades its record to 20-6 on the year. The Gators travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to play the Tigers in a Fox Valley bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 17-14. Crystal Lake Central won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL)

The Grenadiers now own a 6-21 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeling for a Mid-Suburban bout on Tuesday, October 11. Elk Grove will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-20.
