In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Danbury Lakers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Woodmore Wildcats.

The Lakers (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH). The Crimson Streaks come into the Sandusky Bay - River battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, St. Joseph Central Catholic achieved victory over St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Port Clinton Redskins (Port Clinton, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 8. Woodmore will attempt to advance on its 10-10 season record. The Redskins come into the battle with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, OH).
