Illinois High School Volleyball - Jacobs can't hold off DeKalb

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host DeKalb Barbs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Jacobs Golden Eagles.
The Barbs (10-13) will now prepare for their battle against Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Huskies come into the DuPage Valley battle with a 23-3 record. In their last battle, Naperville North nudged Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Golden Eagles clash with the Yorkville Christian Mustangs (Yorkville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 8. Jacobs will attempt to advance on its 8-15 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 21-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL).
