The Farmington Farmers volleyball team (Farmington, IL), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL)

The Hornets (19-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Brimfield (Brimfield, IL). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 17-11 record. In their last bout, Brimfield notched a victory over Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

The Farmers now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they host Illinois Valley Central for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 12. Farmington will play a Grey Ghosts squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 26-4.
