The Hillcrest Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Faith Christian Lions to 1 in the Patriots non-league victory on Saturday.

The Patriots now have a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pell City for a non-league game on Saturday, October 8. Hillcrest will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 19-13.

The Lions (12-25) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson Christian Academy (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Jefferson Christian Academy held off Maplesville (Maplesville, AL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
