Indiana High School Volleyball - Jay County tips Whiteland

October 8, 2022: Whiteland, IN 46184

Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Whiteland Warriors (Whiteland, IN), 2-1 in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 8. Jay County will attempt to better on its 8-22 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 15-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN).

With the loss, Whiteland moves to 8-14 on the year. The Warriors travel to Columbus East (Columbus, IN) to battle the Olympians in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 13. The Olympians go into the contest with a record of 17-11. Columbus East won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Jasper (Jasper, IN)
